Jamaal Charles Injury: Updates on Chiefs Star's Ankle, Knee and Return

Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles injured his ankle in Week 14 against the Arizona Cardinals, though he was able to return to the game. However, head coach Andy Reid revealed Monday he has swelling in his knee in addition to the ankle injury. Reid told reporters on Friday that Charles will play in Week 15.

The Chiefs rely more heavily on their running back than perhaps any team in the NFL, which is why there is understandably a great deal of concern with Charles ailing.

Fortunately for the team, it has a capable backup in Knile Davis should it need to increase his reps if Charles struggles in his return.
