2014 Week 14 Fantasy Football Wide Receiver Rankings
With another exciting week of football under our belts, here are the Lester’s Legends 2014 Week 14 fantasy football wide receiver rankings.
1. Calvin Johnson, Detroit Lions
Calvin Johnson is averaging 94 yards with three touchdowns in his past four games. Megatron went for 146 yards and a pair of scores against the Chicago Bears on Thanksgiving. He should stay hot against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
2. Demaryius Thomas, Denver Broncos
Demaryius Thomas is averaging 104.6 yards and 0.8 touchdowns per game. He has scored a touchdown and/or topped 100 yards in his past nine games. He should stay hot against the Buffalo Bills at home. Thomas has scored eight of his 10 touchdowns at Sports Authority Field at Mile High Stadium.
3. Jordy Nelson, Green Bay Packers
Jordy Nelson is averaging 93.3 yards and 0.8 touchdowns per game. He faces the Atlanta Falcons at home. Nelson has done the Lambeau Leap seven times in six home games. Atlanta has allowed a league-high 284.9 passing yards per game.
4. Antonio Brown, Pittsburgh Steelers
Antonio Brown is averaging 104.8 yards and 0.9 touchdowns per game. He’s had at least 74 yards in every game this year. Brown faces the Cincinnati Bengals. Expect another strong showing. Brown has caught eight passes per game on 11.25 targets.
5. Dez Bryant, Dallas Cowboys
Dez Bryant is averaging 105.7 yards and 1.3 touchdowns in his past three games and 79.3 yards and 0.8 touchdowns per game on the year. He should stay hot against the Bears. Chicago has allowed 270.7 yards and 2.3 touchdowns per game.
6. Julio Jones, Atlanta Falcons
Julio Jones is averaging 97.4 yards and 0.4 touchdowns per game. He is averaging 128.5 yards and a score in his past two games. Jones should be busy as the Falcons try to keep up with the Packers.
7. Josh Gordon, Cleveland Browns
Josh Gordon is averaging 97.5 yards and has been targeted 29 times in two games as the Cleveland Browns have done anything but ease him in. Look for a heavy workload against the Indianapolis Colts. Indy has allowed 257 yards and 1.8 touchdowns per game.
8. A.J. Green, Cincinnati Bengals
A.J. Green is averaging 97.5 yards and 0.6 touchdowns per game. He has either scored or topped 120 yards in his past three games. He faces the Steelers. Pittsburgh has allowed 242.3 yards and a pair of touchdowns per game.
9. Emmanuel Sanders, Denver Broncos
Emmanuel Sanders is averaging 96 yards and 0.6 touchdowns per game. He has had at least 73 yards or a touchdown in his past seven games.
10. Odell Beckham Jr., New York Giants
Odell Beckham Jr. is averaging 118.6 yards and 0.4 touchdowns in his past five games. The success should continue against the Tennessee Titans. The Titans have allowed 243.8 yards and 1.8 touchdowns per game.
11. Randall Cobb, Green Bay Packers
Randall Cobb is averaging 76.8 yards and 0.8 touchdowns per game. He’s also a strong play against Atlanta's secondary.
12. Alshon Jeffery, Chicago Bears
Alshon Jeffery is averaging 76 yards and 1.3 touchdowns in his past three games and 71.2 yards and 0.6 touchdowns per game on the year. He should be busy against the Cowboys. Dallas has allowed 244.5 passing yards per game.
13. T.Y. Hilton, Indianapolis Colts
T.Y. Hilton is averaging 95.4 yards and 0.4 touchdowns. He has scored in four of the past five games. Hilton faces the Cleveland Browns. That means Joe Haden, but I expect Hilton to produce like a borderline WR1.
14. DeAndre Hopkins, Houston Texans
DeAndre Hopkins is averaging 86.8 yards and 0.5 touchdowns per game. He faces the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jags allow 253.8 yards and 1.7 touchdowns per game. Hopkins bounced back in a huge way with 238 yards and two touchdowns with Ryan Fitzpatrick under center. He’s averaging 92.2 yards and 0.6 touchdowns in Fitzpatrick’s 10 starts.
15. Mike Evans, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Mike Evans is averaging 80.9 yards and 0.7 touchdowns per game. He has eight scores in the past eight games. Evans is a solid play despite a tough draw against the Lions.
16. Brandon Marshall, Chicago Bears
Brandon Marshall is averaging 55 yards and 0.7 touchdowns per game. He’s a solid play against Dallas as well.
17. Kelvin Benjamin, Carolina Panthers
Kelvin Benjamin is averaging 68.7 yards and 0.7 touchdowns per game. He faces the New Orleans Saints. The Saints have allowed 268.4 yards and 1.6 touchdowns per game.
18. Jeremy Maclin, Philadelphia Eagles
Jeremy Maclin is averaging 90.7 yards and 0.8 touchdowns per game. He has a tough draw against the Seattle Seahawks but remains a solid WR2.
19. Brandon LaFell, New England Patriots
Brandon LaFell is averaging 75.3 yards and 0.9 touchdowns in his past seven games. He faces the San Diego Chargers. The Bolts have allowed 1.7 touchdown passes per game.
20. Golden Tate, Detroit Lions
