Sunderland to Benefit from Christian Atsu's Everton Struggles?

They took a point from Chelsea at the weekend, and now it seems Sunderland are set to benefit again from the Premier League leaders.

This time, by signing one of their players.

Christian Atsu is currently on loan at Everton for the season, but with just three appearances to his name, Chelsea are rumoured to be frustrated with his lack of playing time.

The idea of any loan is for a player to enjoy more playing time than he would with his parent club, which is far from the case with Atsu at present.

Now the Daily Mirror reports Chelsea will recall Atsu in January, sending him on loan to Sunderland for the remainder of the season instead.
