Shields Suffers Concussion vs. Patriots
The Green Bay Packers could be without one of their most important players on the defensive side of the ball after Sam Shields exited Sunday's Week 13 game against the New England Patriots.
According to Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com, the team's medical staff took Shields back to the locker room to determine if he'd suffered a concussion:
Shields was later ruled out for the remainder of the game, via Paul Imig of Fox Sports WI:
The 26-year-old had two interceptions and eight passes defended entering Week 13.
If Shields is forced to miss time, it would be a significant loss for the Green Bay defense.
