Doug Martin, Charles Sims, Bobby Rainey's Post-Week 13 Fantasy Reaction
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have struggled all season in the run game, and the team’s inability to find consistency on the ground was an issue for fantasy football owners once again in Week 13.
While Doug Martin regained his role as the team’s primary running back, both Charles Sims and Bobby Rainey were not as effective.
Martin has been dealing with various injuries throughout the season but has now led the team in carries each of the last two weeks. He has yet to return to the elite form shown in his rookie season, but owners who have been patient with Martin were at least rewarded with a touchdown.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
| Doug Martin | 18 | 58 | 3.2 | 1 |
| Bobby Rainey | 1 | 11 | 11.0 | 0 |
| Charles Sims | 5 | 6 | 1.2 | 0 |
| Charles Sims | 4 | 4 | 49 | 0 |
| Bobby Rainey | 2 | 2 | 41 | 0 |
| Doug Martin | 1 | 1 | 3 | 0 |
Sims was not effective on the ground as he continues to get acclimated to the NFL, but he has been the top receiving back on the roster and that continued Sunday. Rainey saw a few late touches, but he was not a fantasy threat.
Owners must watch how Tampa Bay uses Martin and Sims moving forward. As much as Martin struggled early in the year, he is as healthy as he has been all season and running well. Sims is also showing his elusiveness in open space, but should only be considered a handcuff at this point.
On the other hand, Martin is making a case to be a flex starter moving forward in all standard-scoring leagues.
