Chargers vs. Ravens: Score and Twitter Reaction from 2014 Regular Season
The Baltimore Ravens and San Diego Chargers faced off Sunday in a Week 13 battle with huge AFC playoff implications at stake. San Diego came away one step closer to the postseason with a 34-33 victory courtesy of a massive final drive from Philip Rivers.
San Diego's official Twitter account passed along a look at the final score from Baltimore:

Rivers did everything for the Chargers against a stout Ravens defense. Under pressure throughout the game, he was able to lead San Diego down the field multiple times and finished 34-of-45 passing for 383 yards, three touchdowns and one interception.
With 38 seconds remaining and trailing 33-27, he connected with Eddie Royal to put the Bolts ahead by one point, while the defense secured the win by holding the Ravens. Kevin Acee of U-T San Diego noted the difficult climate for Rivers on the final drive:
Keenan Allen had a standout game with 121 receiving yards and two touchdowns to lead the way for the Chargers receivers. His struggles have been well-chronicled this season, but Allen is breaking out at the right time for San Diego.
Prior to the game, Allen spoke about his struggles, via Matt Calkins of U-T San Diego.
"I still have opportunities. I still have a chance," he said.
Let's just say he made the most of those opportunities to help Rivers have a huge game Sunday. NFL on CBS provided a look at one of his touchdown receptions:
Meanwhile, the Ravens got the job done in nearly every facet, but it wasn't enough. Running back Justin Forsett carried the ball 24 times for 106 yards, while Torrey Smith collected two receiving scores from Joe Flacco.
Smith was overshadowed earlier in the season by Steve Smith but has been a leader yet again for the AFC North contenders. It has been an up-and-down year for Torrey Smith, but the Ravens' official Twitter account points out how hot he's been recently:
Forsett, on the other hand, has been as consistent as any running back recently. The journeyman player has been a big contributor to the Ravens offense this season and did the same on Sunday with a huge game to lead the ground attack.
ESPN Stats & Info noted just how rare his third straight 100-yard rushing game is for Baltimore:
Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com also noted how special this season has been for Forsett:
Moving forward, both teams still hold onto hopes of making the postseason.
Baltimore has the Miami Dolphins coming up next week after dropping its fifth game of the season. In a tough AFC North division where every team still has a chance to make the postseason, the Ravens still have a chance to rally and make the playoffs at 7-5.
The 8-4 Chargers host the New England Patriots in Week 14, followed by contests against the Denver Broncos and San Francisco 49ers before closing the regular season against the Kansas City Chiefs. Facing a tough slate of games, Sunday's win will mean nothing if San Diego can't survive those matchups.
