Tiger Makes a Move While John Daly Plays Like Me!
Tiger Woods had his best five hole start ever, chipping in for an eagle, and carding four more birdies, en route to a 63 in the second round of the Buick Open.
The other seven times Tiger has shot a 63 in the second round of a PGA tournament, he has won.
Meanwhile, the fashion police arrested John Daly after missing the cut, with an 88, and making it to +22 for the two rounds he played. See above photo for clarification of fashion horror.
I can shoot an 88 on a good course. Let's leave it at that. I more than likely would look nicer too. Oh my God, John, what are you thinking.
I feel better about taking Tiger to win this week, after he freaked my world out, carding a 71 on Thursday.
Let's hope the putter gets a little better on the weekend, and Tiger will win for the fourth time this season.
Look for a score of minus 20 or better in this tournament to grab the victory.
Tiger will need to shoot a couple more 65s or so to win this one, most likely.
This course does not have much undulation in the fairways and is relatively short for a PGA event.
John Senden, A one time winner on tour, leads at -14.
Watch all the action this weekend on CBS Sports.
Look for my wrap-up on Sunday of this event, and a preview of the next PGA tournament, leading up to the final major of the season, the PGA Championship at Valhalla.
Have a great weekend.
