Le'Veon Bell, Dri Archer's Instant Fantasy Reaction After Week 13

Timothy RappNov 30, 2014

Once again, the Le'Veon Bell tolled for an opposing defense. This time the New Orleans Saints were the victim.

One of fantasy's most consistent players continued to produce on Sunday, leading the Pittsburgh rushing attack as he's done all season long and lending a hand in the passing game, too. Coming into Sunday he was the NFL's fourth-leading rusher, so he was certainly expected to gash the suspect New Orleans defense.

And boy, did he do just that.

At this point, you shouldn't even glance over Bell's name on your lineup sheet unless you're worried about an injury he's suffered. He's a locked-and-loaded RB1 every single week and there aren't any indications that his status will change anytime soon.

That makes Dri Archer pretty irrelevant in fantasy. At some point the Steelers might make him a bigger part of the offense and incorporate him into the game plan more frequently, but until that happens with more consistency he shouldn't even be owned in your fantasy league.

Hit me up on Twitter—I'll answer your fantasy questions and make some corny jokes, too. It's more fun than a catching drill with Odell Beckham Jr.
