Eddie Royal caught the go-ahead touchdown with 38 seconds remaining to cap off a 21-point fourth quarter for the Chargers as they squeaked past the host Ravens 34-33.

Philip Rivers led San Diego (8-4) on an eight-play, 80-yard scoring drive for the game-winning touchdown pass—one of three he had on the day in addition to 383 yards passing. Keenan Allen had a game-high 11 catches for 121 yards and two touchdowns while Ryan Mathews added a rushing touchdown of 14 yards as the Chargers netted 440 yards of offense.

Justin Forsett paced the Ravens rushing attack with 106 yards on 24 carries, putting him over the 1,000-yard mark for Baltimore (7-5), which forfeited a double-digit lead twice in the second half. Torrey Smith hauled in a pair of touchdowns and Joe Flacco threw for 225 yards with a quarterback sneak in the fourth quarter for a score.

Mathews pulled the Chargers within 23-20 with his touchdown run in the final stanza, but Flacco's lunge into the end zone from a yard out put the Ravens back on top by 10. Rivers lobbed a pass to Allen's back shoulder, which he snagged for a 23-yard score, and Justin Tucker notched his fourth field goal—a 31-yarder—for a 33-27 advantage with 2:22 left.

San Diego moved the ball down to the Baltimore 24-yard line, and a pass interference penalty on Anthony Levine helped set up Royal's touchdown from a yard out on a screen pass. The Ravens took their final timeout after a 15-yard completion to Kamar Aiken, who added a 24-yard grab to move within Tucker's kicking range, but Aiken failed to get out of bounds and the clock expired.
