New Orleans Saints vs. Pittsburgh Steelers: Live New Orleans Score and Analysis
The New Orleans Saints snapped a three-game losing skid on Sunday afternoon, as they marched into Heinz Field Stadium and defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers, 35-32.
New Orleans was slow getting started offensively, but the Saints defense managed to limit the Steelers to field goals in the early going.
Once Drew Brees and the Saints offense got revved up, there was no slowing them down. Brees finished with 257 yards and five touchdown passes on the day, and he completed passes to nine different receivers. Surprisingly, Jimmy Graham wasn't one of them, which made the Saints' offensive performance that much more impressive.

Defensively, New Orleans was led by end Cam Jordan, who twice batted down Ben Roethlisberger pass attempts and snagged one of them for an interception.
The Saints were ahead 35-16 late in the fourth quarter when Pittsburgh finally got rolling offensively, but New Orleans was playing a prevent-style defense and made Roethlisberger earn it with long, methodical drives.
With the victory, Sean Payton's squad took a big step in its quest for a playoff spot, as it improved to 5-7 on the season. If the 4-7 Atlanta Falcons lose on Sunday afternoon, the Saints will assume sole possession of first place in the NFC South.
