It wasn't the matchup many anticipated seeing when it was revealed that the Indianapolis Colts and Washington Redskins would meet up in Week 13. Be that as it may, both Colt McCoy and Andrew Luck had banner days in the Colts' 49-27 victory over Washington.

Throwing for 370 yards, Luck set a career high with five touchdown passes.

Not to be forgotten, after a horrid start, McCoy recovered to tally 392 yards through the air and posted his first NFL game with three touchdown passes.

His biggest beneficiaries were DeSean Jackson and Jordan Reed. Before exiting with an injury, Jackson had five receptions for 84 yards. Slowed by a variety of injuries all year, Reed had a season-high nine receptions for 123 yards.

But as the final score indicates, defense was the problem in Washington. While the team did force three turnovers, two in the first quarter, the defensive mishaps in this one were aplenty.

Behind poor tackling and blown assignments, the Redskins surrendered four touchdowns north of 40 yards.

With injuries already forcing his hand to some extent, you can expect head coach Jay Gruden to usher in a youth movement in the weeks to come as he turns his attention towards the 2015 season.
