Louis van Gaal provided a bittersweet update on Di Maria's hamstring following United's win over Stoke. According to Rory Keane of the Mail Online, LvG revealed the injury isn't serious, but will prevent him facing Southampton on Monday:

Hamstring Tear Fears Emerge
Chris Waugh of the Mail Online reports on a tweet from Di Maria's wife, Jorgelina Cardoso, which appears to suggest that the Argentinian has suffered a small tear to the hamstring.
Cardoso replied "Hay un pequeno desgarro" to a question about Di Maria's fitness, which Waugh translates to read "A small tear." The tweet is shown below:

Manchester United playmaker Angel Di Maria was forced to leave the club's clash with Hull City after less than 15 minutes due to an apparent hamstring injury.
The club noted the ensuing change, which brought on Ander Herrera:
