One of the most intriguing matchups on Sunday also features a battle of two supremely talented quarterbacks. When the New England Patriots and Green Bay Packers clash, the focus for fantasy owners will be squarely in the backfield.
Both Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady have been on fire in recent weeks and currently rank third and fifth, respectively, in overall fantasy points. Most of that production comes from finishing off drives in the end zone, as ESPN Stats and Info notes:
Brady has the slight upper hand between the two thanks to the Packers defense being more forgiving to signal-callers. But there's no doubt that this will be a fantasy owner's dream to watch these quarterbacks battle.
Outside of Rodgers and Brady, one quarterback to watch will be Ryan Tannehill. Making a surprise visit in the top 10 this week, the Miami Dolphins quarterback faces a porous New York Jets defense that made Kyle Orton look like Peyton Manning in Week 12.
Speaking of Manning, expectations for him and others like Andrew Luck remain high on Sunday. Playoff spots are hanging in the balance, so plug in any of the top quarterbacks with confidence.

There's no reason to tell owners of Le'Veon Bell that he needs to be started, but this might prove to be one of his top performances.
Facing a New Orleans Saints defense that has been ravaged by running backs recently, Bell should blister the NFC South opponent. It has been a rough stretch for the Saints at home, as Patrick Daugherty of Rotoworld notes:
Bell has been a top-five back all year but should be especially great at the end of the season. Owners in desperate need of getting to the playoffs and making a late run can depend on Bell to put up huge numbers.
Keeping with the theme of second-year backs, Eddie Lacy has been on fire recently. Even with a stiff matchup against New England's rush defense, the Green Bay tailback has rounded back into form and will shine on Sunday.
Two of the top bounce-back performers will be Denard Robinson and Tre Mason, who both have favorable matchups. Leaning on any of these running backs should prove fruitful for owners in Week 13.

Thanksgiving was a mixed bag for wide receivers, but Sunday promises to have several huge performances.
Out of all fantasy wideouts, the one who might bring the most excitement is Odell Beckham Jr. The New York Giants rookie had one phenomenal catch, 144 yards and two touchdowns against the Dallas Cowboys.
As his reward, Beckham now faces the Jacksonville Jaguars secondary, which ranks 27th in passing yards per game. ESPN Fantasy Sports notes how hot the start has been for Beckham:
Over the last four weeks, the Jaguars have allowed 27.27 points to receivers. Needless to say, Beckham should have a field day for fantasy owners.
After a standout performance in his first game back from suspension, look for Josh Gordon to put up WR1 numbers again. Another huge week for Mike Evans and Kelvin Benjamin is also on tap, as they have exploitable matchups.
Tight Ends
| 1 | Rob Gronkowski | NE | at GB |
| 2 | Jimmy Graham | NO | at PIT |
| 3 | Julius Thomas | DEN | at KC |
| 4 | Greg Olsen | CAR | at MIN |
| 5 | Antonio Gates | SD | at BAL |
| 6 | Travis Kelce | KC | DEN |
| 7 | Delanie Walker | TEN | at HOU |
| 8 | Coby Fleener | IND | WAS |
| 9 | Larry Donnell | NYG | at JAX |
| 10 | Dwayne Allen | IND | WAS |
| 11 | Heath Miller | PIT | NO |
| 12 | Kyle Rudolph | MIN | CAR |
| 13 | Owen Daniels | BAL | SD |
| 14 | Charles Clay | MIA | at NYJ |
| 15 | Jordan Reed | WAS | at IND |
| 16 | Jordan Cameron | CLE | at BUF |
| 17 | Mychal Rivera | OAK | at STL |
| 18 | Timothy Wright | NE | at GB |
| 19 | Marcedes Lewis | JAX | NYG |
| 20 | Scott Chandler | BUF | CLE |
Tom Brady loves to spread the ball around but left Rob Gronkowski owners frustrated in Week 12. Rather than targeting Gronk in the end zone, Brady gave Timothy Wright his fifth and sixth touchdowns of the season.
Green Bay has allowed the sixth-most receiving yards to tight ends (675) this season. Wright may be a good target in the red zone, but Gronk is the downfield option for Brady who picks up huge yardage.
The Packers have limited touchdowns to tight ends this year but gave up 11.9 points to Jimmy Graham. Coach Mike McCarthy admitted his team hasn't faced anyone like Gronkowski recently, per Tyler Dunne of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:
While it's difficult to predict who will shine in the Patriots offense from week to week, expect Gronk to exploit the Packers defense.
Outside of Gronk, Graham and Thomas continue to round out the top three regardless of the matchup when healthy. Travis Kelce should also be a great option against a Broncos defense allowing 9.16 points to tight ends per game.
