Athletes on Thanksgiving
If I told you Thanksgiving is an underrated holiday, you would probably say, "Whaaaat? Everybody loves Thanksgiving!" And you'd be right, everybody does love it.
But, the fact we all agree Thanksgiving is awesome doesn't mean it's not underrated—because it is.
Think about it: Thanksgiving kicks off the holiday season, which really is just a countdown to Christmas; the king of holidays.
Thanksgiving manages to hold its own, despite the absence of gifts and Christmas accouterments, by stuffing us full of delicious turkey and...um...stuffing, and bringing together family and friends.
And now, social-media apps like Instagram give everyone the ability to broadcast their good times and belt-busting spread—including athletes around the country. Athletes, just like the rest of us, are checking on that bird in the oven and hanging out with their loved ones.
These are athletes on Thanksgiving—put that turkey leg down every now and again and check back throughout the day for updates.
