The Chicago Bears' defense can't seem to stay healthy, as defensive end Cornelius Washington left Thursday's game against the Detroit Lions with a chest injury.
Leaving in the first half, he was quickly ruled out for the rest of the game, per the team's official Twitter feed:
Already missing linebacker Lance Briggs and defensive tackle Jeremiah Ratliff, Chicago's depth now takes a hit with the loss of Washington. The 25-year-old isn't a full-time player, but he's an athletic pass-rusher who has made some nice contributions off the bench.
