WWE NXT: Full Preview, Rumors and More for November 27

The Doctor Chris MuellerNov 27, 2014

Welcome to Bleacher Report's preview for the Nov. 27 episode of NXT on the WWE Network. Spoilers are already out there, but if you want to know what will happen without having the matches spoiled for you, you're in the right place.

It's a light week for NXT with only four matches, but there's one that is going to be worth tuning in for all by itself. Finn Balor will wrestle Tyson Kidd in what should be the show-stealing performance of the night.

With the next Takeover special just two weeks away, we are starting to see more coverage of the feuds that will headline the event.

Let's take a look at what the Thanksgiving edition of NXT has in store for us.

The Women

Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady have really taken Carmella under their collective wing, and we will get to see if their influence has helped in another match this week.

Carmella will be taking on a local talent, so the odds of her winning are extremely high. This is more of a test to see how she is as a performer than anything else.

Her first couple of outings in an NXT ring showed some promise. She's athletic and certainly has the kind of look that makes for a good Diva.

There's only one bout for the women this week, but Bayley is also set to make an appearance to address her recent issues with Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch.

Charlotte has warned Bayley about her former BFF and how she needs to stay away from Banks, but Bayley is supposed to be a fighter and is probably not going to listen to that advice.

All four of the women involved in this feud have bright futures on the main roster. It will be very interesting to see which one gets called up first.

The Tag Teams

Kalisto and Sin Cara will be taking on Jason Jordan and Tye Dillinger in tag team action this week. This should be one of the highlights of the night.

Jordan and Dillinger are still low on the totem pole in NXT, but they have made some good impressions in the matches they've had.

The tag team scene is just as (if not more) competitive in NXT as it is on the main roster, and it's because NXT has teams like Dillinger and Jordan and The Lucha Dragons.

If Dillinger and Jordan could knock off the tag team champions, they would definitely find themselves in line for a future title shot, but this is more likely going to end up being a victory for Sin Cara and Kalisto.

The Men

Tyler Breeze is set to open the show with a match against the former Legionnaire, Marcus Louis. The Frenchman hasn't been seen much since he had his head shaved, so it will be fun to see if he has attempted to grow it back or if he went for the full Steve Austin look.

This should be an easy match for Breeze. He is still being positioned as a top star despite not being in the hunt for the title at the moment, so he needs wins over guys like Louis to keep him busy until Sami Zayn and Adrian Neville give someone else a chance.

Louis would definitely get himself back on track with a win over Breeze, but he really should have been put into a program with Sylvester LeFort so they can finish what they started.

The main event of the evening will see Tyson Kidd battle NXT newcomer, Finn Balor. This is going to be one of those matches you will want to go back and watch again as soon as it's over.

Balor has shown some of what he is capable of in tag matches, but Tyson Kidd is the kind of opponent who will push him to be his absolute best in a singles contest.

Kidd gets a lot of credit for being a good technical wrestler, but one of the things he does best is make his opponents raise their game to match his. Balor is a proven talent outside of WWE, but it's now time to see how well he can acclimate to the WWE style while still retaining what makes him exciting to watch.

With the recent tension between Balor and The Ascension, it wouldn't be a surprise to see Konnor and Viktor make some kind of appearance.

Even if the other three matches turn out to be duds, the main event is going to be a great reason to turn the WWE Network on after Thanksgiving dinner is done.

What are you looking forward to on this week's episode of NXT?
