Suggs Misses Practice with Foot Injury
News of Suggs' absence from the practice field was reported by the Ravens' official Twitter account:
Suggs has been a model of durability during his time in Baltimore, and he's still producing amid his 12th NFL season, with 38 combined tackles and six sacks this year. The 32-year-old veteran has missed just 11 regular-season games in his career, with eight of those coming in 2012 when he tore his Achilles tendon.
It may be a precautionary move to keep Suggs out for Wednesday's practice, which makes sense given the circumstances.
The Ravens are in a highly competitive AFC North race. All four teams are at least three games above .500, and Suggs could use the rest before Week 13's game against San Diego given the mileage on his body.
