ECW: A Well-Oiled Machine

Hello, everyone. As always I would like to thank you for spending a few minutes with me today.

While some may complain or praise the current lineup of WWE programing, Raw seems to be the one complained about the most. Smackdown is the show that seems to garnish the most praise.

The show that I hear very little about, though, is ECW. We all know that this is not "EC F'N W" That chapter has long past us. It is, however, a very serviceable show.

It would appear now that ECW is now the official minor leagues for Raw and Smackdown. Over the last two years, it has produced some fine talent. We have seen Miz, Morrison, Punk, the Hart Dynasty, and even the rebirth of the gentle giant, Mark Henry.

You have to give credit where credit is due, my friends. For all of Vince's faults, the man knows how to produce talent. It is very well possible that the above stars may not pan out, but they certainly have a good shot at being big.

It reminds me of when I was a kid at the beach. The waves would crash down on the sand and leave shells and neat looking rock. Then another wave hits and pulls it all away, only to leave more of the same.

No matter how many times they pry away ECW's talent, there always seems to be more in the wait. You also have to credit the WWE's farm system for popping out wrestlers like machines.

Some of the new guys on the show like Yoshi, Seamus, and Tyler Reks; all have potential to be decent superstars. I wouldn't get to attached though, once they reach a certain level, they will go to better places.

With all of the gripes that people have with Vince and the WWE. It is nice to know that he still can do one thing, and that one thing is the most important thing, producing new stars for us to root for.
