WWE SmackDown: Spoiler-Free Preview for November 28
With the buzz from Survivor Series still crackling, the Nov. 28 edition of WWE SmackDown showcases fresh faces. Rusev, Xavier Woods and Luke Harper all step onto the stage, fists at the ready.
With the TLC pay-per-view just weeks away, WWE needs to build feuds quickly. Curiosity about what the company has planned for those men is a part of what makes Friday's show appealing. The same goes for the matches lined up.
WWE already taped SmackDown at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on Tuesday. It won't air until Friday at 8 p.m. ET on SyFy.

Until then, fans wishing to know what's in store without learning the results can check out the following spoiler-free preview.
United States Championship Battle Royal
Entrants: Rusev, Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, Justin Gabriel, Big Show, The Miz, Tyson Kidd, Titus O'Neil, Sin Cara, Stardust, Adam Rose, Curtis Axel, Cesaro, Diego, Damien Mizdow, Heath Slater, Goldust, Fernando, Diego, Erick Rowan
Rusev's title reign is in danger of ending just 20-plus days into it. Comedy characters, tag team wrestlers (including the new champs) and big men comprise the field that Rusev has to survive.
On Monday's Raw, Daniel Bryan gave Rusev the choice to either pledge allegiance to the U.S. flag or take on the entire roster in a Battle Royal. After only halfway doing the pledge, he apparently only has to face 20 men rather than the full roster.
It's a welcome move to have The Bulgarian Brute put the title on the line again already. If he survives this challenge, he'll emerge a more impressive champion. If not, we get the excitement of a new titleholder being crowned.
Emma vs. Nikki Bella
Hey, it's Emma! The little-used Diva gets a crack at the new Divas champ in non-title action. This is either a big opportunity for her or further evidence of her low position on the WWE ladder.
Nikki is fresh off winning the Divas Championship from AJ Lee at Survivor Series.
Her sister, Brie, is no longer forced to be her personal assistant, so fans will get a look at what those two women's relationship looks like now. Nikki mistreated Brie for the last month, leaving her head covered in smoothie and her pride bruised.
Fans will expect Brie to get some measure of revenge, perhaps as early as Friday's SmackDown. AJ should be lurking as well. Losing her title has to still be stinging her.
Ryback vs. Seth Rollins
This clash is going to signal just how high WWE is on Ryback right now. The company has made it clear that it values Rollins, keeping him positioned near the top of the ladder. Is it ready to give Ryback a real push, too?
Since returning from injury, The Big Guy has mostly steamrolled the competition. At Survivor Series, though, he didn't last long.
A win over Rollins points at Ryback continuing his march toward the main event.
The contrast in styles, Rollins' energy and Ryback's intensity should make for a fun bout.
Xavier Woods, Big E and Kofi Kingston vs. Curtis Axel, Heath Slater and Titus O'Neil
The repackaged New Day faction debuts. Woods rallied Big E and Kingston to join him months ago, but WWE didn't go anywhere with the group.
After being out of sight for weeks, a series of vignettes showed off their new choir-backed personas.
It's unclear how this gimmick will look in the ring. Are they preachers? Are they James Brown-like?
Getting the answers to those questions is incentive enough to tune in here.
Slater Gator and Axel aren't the most formidable foes, each man asked to lie down for bigger stars on a regular basis. They enter as underdogs against Woods and company.
Dolph Ziggler vs. Luke Harper
Both men will be looking for some payback.
Ziggler eliminated Harper at Survivor Series. That was just days after Harper snatched the Intercontinental Championship off The Showoff's waist.
WWE would be smart to go with a full-fledged feud between these two. They showed good chemistry in the IC title bout and make for a fresh combination.
How this clash unfolds will provide a clue if that's what the company is planning or if Ziggler and Harper have other rivals on their horizon.
Their collision on Raw was excellent. With an opportunity in the main event, count on both men delivering. This, along with New Day emerging and the scramble for the U.S. title, makes for an enticing edition of SmackDown.
