NFL Odds: Opening Spreads, Line Moves for Week 13 Betting

OddsShark.comNov 26, 2014

First place in the NFC East will be on the line when the Philadelphia Eagles face the Dallas Cowboys as early three-point underdogs at sportsbooks monitored by Odds Shark for Thanksgiving afternoon.

The 8-3 Eagles rebounded from a dismal 53-20 loss to Green Bay in Week 11 by posting a dominant 43-24 win over the Tennessee Titans last weekend, recording their second ATS win of the season as double-digit favorites.

However, after developing a reputation as road warriors last year, riding a run of eight SU wins in 10 road games into the early going this season, Philly is 1-3 SU in its last four on the road, going 2-2 ATS, with each of its SU losses coming when pegged as underdogs at the sportsbooks.

The 8-3 Cowboys have bounced back from a pair of SU losses that dropped them out of the top spot in the division, winning two straight, 1-1 ATS, to again draw even with the Eagles.

Dallas aims to reverse a trend of three SU losses in its last four home dates against Philly, going 2-2 ATS in those games.

The 7-3-1 Cincinnati Bengals will be gunning for a third straight victory, SU and ATS, when they visit the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as four-point favorites on the Week 13 NFL betting lines.

Cincy heads into Sunday’s Bengals vs. Buccaneers matchup at Raymond James Stadium with a narrow lead atop the AFC North, just a half game ahead of Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Baltimore.

Despite a dismal 2-9 record, the Bucs remain in the playoff hunt, just two games back of Atlanta and New Orleans in the NFC South. Tampa Bay is 1-6 SU in its last seven, 3-4 ATS, but is 5-0 SU and 4-1 ATS in its last five against the Bengals, according to the Odds Shark NFL database.

Following their 34-27 loss to the Ravens on Monday night, the 4-7 Saints face the 7-4 Steelers as three-point road favorites at the sportsbooks.

The Saints hit the road after losing three straight, SU and ATS, in their recent homestand and are just 1-4 SU, 2-3 ATS, on the road this season. Pittsburgh is 4-1 SU in its last five and was dominant in three SU and ATS wins in its last three home dates.

In other Week 13 NFL betting action, the 7-4 San Francisco 49ers are slight one-point favorites over the Seattle Seahawks in a key NFC West matchup, while the 8-3 Green Bay Packers are favored by three over the 9-2 New England Patriots in a matchup of potential Super Bowl XLIX opponents.
