Patrick Vieira or Daniel De Rossi: Who Would You Prefer Arsenal Signed?

With Wenger looking add some much needed strength and experience to his midfield, Arsenal are said to be looking at the likes of Patrick Vieira and Daniel Rossi. Both are talented, experienced, smart, and strong defensive midfielders who would sit perfectly next to captain Cesc Fabregas.

Patrick Vieira

The Arsenal legend and former captain is said to be making a surprise return to the club where he achieved greatness. Vieira guided Arsenal through arguably one of their best periods and the Frenchmen was also the man who netted the penalty to score Arsenal their most recent trophy, the FA Cup in 2005.

The 33-year-old may be heading toward retirement in the coming years but he still has the ability to bring much needed strength, power, experience and leadership to the Arsenal midfield. Vieira would also be a superb mentor to the younger players.

Vieira would cost Arsenal up to about 750,000 which is a scream of a deal.

Daniel De Rossi

The 26-year-old Italian and AS Roma midfield would be superb in the Arsenal fray. The World Cup Winner would bring creativity, aggression, strength and power to the Arsenal midfield and he would also provide a great partner for Cesc Fabregas.

However, De Rossi is rumoured to be around £35 million which is likely to be way to much for Wenger. But De Rossi would be a great addition to the Arsenal squad and would definitely make up for the losses Arsenal are currently suffering.
