His contract expires at the end of the season, and Milan would be wise to ship him out in January before losing him for nothing.

Pazzini off to Genoa?

According to respected journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Pazzini has two options.
The first is a return to Sampdoria, where he "left friends and good memories." However, Milan want Stefano Okaka in exchange, and coach Sinisa Mihajlovicย does not want to sell the 25-year-old striker this winter.
It's even harder to contemplate Genoa.
It's understood that Pazzini does not want to betray Sampdoria or their fans. However, in the event that business is done, Milan could theoretically recall Alessandro Matriโwho has five goals and three assistsโand send Pazzini the other way.
"The certainty is that heโll leave," writes Di Marzio. "The destination is unsure."ย
