Brandon Marshall Injury: Updates on Broncos LB's Concussion and Return

Denver Broncos linebacker Brandon Marshall suffered a concussion in the fourth quarter of Week 12’s 39-36 win over the Miami Dolphins. He is active for Week 13.

Marshall Still in Concussion Protocol

Troy Renck of The Denver Post provided a synopsis of Broncos head coach John Fox confirming Marshall was still in concussion protocol.

Marshall Exits vs. Miami with Concussion

Jeff Legwold of ESPN.com had the news and reported on what the next step is for Marshall: "Linebacker Brandon Marshall, the team's leading tackler, left in the fourth quarter with a concussion. Marshall is now under the guidelines of the league's concussion protocol."

The third-year player out of Nevada has accumulated 90 tackles on the season for a Broncos defense that ranks second in the NFL against the run, allowing just 73.4 yards per game. Denver travels to Kansas City next week for a key AFC West battle against the Chiefs.
