50 Cent's Son Marquise Jackson Shows Off Handles, Scoring Ability in Mixtape

Kyle NewportNov 23, 2014

His dad, Curtis Jackson (aka 50 Cent), may have made it big in the music industry, but Marquise Jackson has been making some noise on the court.

In this mixtape, the 5'9" point guard showcases his versatile skill set. He can handle the ball, knock it down from long range and set his teammates up for open looks.

Slam Magazine's Rodger Bohn writes:

"

Despite posting averages of 19 points, four rebounds and four assists per game as a senior at King’s Ridge Christian Academy just outside of Atlanta, the 5'9" point guard got little recruiting love and still finds himself fighting for that elusive D-1 offer. At the National Prep Showcase, he did everything in his power to earn that.

"

According to Bohn, Jackson's team faced the No. 1 prep school in the country, Brewster Academy, and he matched up with point guards Justin Simon (Arizona recruit), Jalen Adams (UConn) and David Crisp (Washington). Jackson's team lost, but he finished with 20 points on just eight shots.

It's clear that Jackson is more than just a name. The senior point guard has some game.
