Tom Brady, Tim Wright, Julian Edelman's Post-Week 12 Fantasy Reaction
The New England Patriots dominated the Detroit Lions in Week 12, and the passing attack led by veteran quarterback Tom Brady was a huge part of the team’s success Sunday.
Fantasy owners who started tight end Tim Wright or wide receiver Julian Edelman were able to reap the rewards of a big statistical output for the entire New England offensive unit.

Despite holding the lead for most of the game, Brady still ended up throwing 53 total passes with 38 completions for 349 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. For fantasy owners who stuck with Brady after a slow start to the season, another successful week resulted in big fantasy points.
While Rob Gronkowski is the preferable starting tight end for the Patriots, Wright caught five passes for 36 yards and two touchdowns. Gronk still managed five receptions for 78 yards, but Wright was the preferred target Sunday in the red zone.

As for the wide receivers, Edelman was targeted by Brady more than any of the other players, seeing 15 passes coming his way. He ended up catching a game-high 11 balls for 89 yards, but did not score a touchdown. Still, the high volume is what's important here in terms of Edelman's outlook.
Brady is a must start in every formatted league. Wright is a risk-reward star in deeper leagues or on a team that has dealt with injuries, but Edelman is a pass-catching machine and a star in point-per-reception leagues.
New England continues to roll offensively, and owners with Patriots players on the roster are the biggest winners heading toward the fantasy playoffs.
