Eddie Lacy, James Starks' Instant Fantasy Reaction After Week 12
The Green Bay Packers did not amass another 50-point performance against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 12, but starting running back Eddie Lacy had an incredible day on the ground, making backup running back James Starks irrelevant.
Lacy was a machine, churning out 125 yards and one touchdown on 25 carries. Add in another two receptions for 13 yards and another touchdown, and Lacy was a fantasy juggernaut Sunday.
Starks ran the ball one time for minus-four yards and was targeted only once in the passing game, though he failed to haul in the reception.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
| Eddie Lacy | 25 | 125 | 5.0 | 1 |
| James Starks | 1 | -4 | -4.0 | 0 |
| Eddie Lacy | 2 | 2 | 13 | 1 |
| James Starks | 0 | 1 | 0 | 0 |
For fantasy owners, Lacy is an RB1 who deserves to start every week. He was likely drafted early in most leagues, and owners must ride with the players that have taken them this far. Starks is worth owning for Lacy owners as a handcuff, but that is the extent of Starks' effectiveness.
Lacy faces a tough matchup in Week 13 against the New England Patriots, but with both teams showcasing the ability to keep the score close, the star running back should still receive a hefty workload and the goal-line carries.
While Lacy is known by many as a bruising running back, he now has receiving touchdowns in each of the last three games. With seven total touchdowns this season, Lacy looks to be a key part of any fantasy team’s postseason hopes.
