Dan Herron, Trent Richardson's Instant Fantasy Reaction After Week 12
The two-back system for the Indianapolis Colts has changed over the last week with Ahmad Bradshaw's season-ending leg injury. Trent Richardson is making the most of his opportunity and helped fantasy owners against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Richardson scored his third touchdown of the season on a goal-line carry and burrowed his way back into his owners' hearts. Dan Herron, who received the surprise start, was more productive on the ground, but didn't receive that crucial red-zone touch.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
All in all, it was a good day for Richardson owners thanks to the score early in the second half. Despite not receiving the starting duties, he still tallied valuable points for owners against the Jaguars.
Herron had a good day as well while splitting duties with Richardson throughout the game and looked like the better running back during his snaps. Prior to the game, Matthew Berry of ESPN noted he had "Boom" Herron ahead of Richardson:
Regardless of who gets the majority of the snaps moving forward, it appears there are enough carries to go around in Indianapolis. Herron had the starting role, but didn't firmly grab the reins from Richardson despite having more total yards.
This should be an interesting battle moving forward with the Colts playing the Washington Redskins in Week 13. Both are worth owning still as Herron might have the slight edge thanks to his overall production.
