Arsenal vs. Manchester United: Goals, Highlights from Premier League Match

Arsenal and Manchester United met on Saturday in a marquee match between historic rivals at the Emirates. 

Manchester United went ahead in the second half when Antonio Valencia's shot hit Kieran Gibbs, who tried to stop the shot while on the ground. 

Goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny was injured on the play. 

Wayne Rooney settled things late in the match, making things 2-0 when Arsenal were caught on the break. It was United's first shot on target of the night.

Olivier Giroud made things interesting in injury time with a superb finish on his return from injury. 

Fireworks erupted in the first half when Marouane Fellaini and Jack Wilshere had a heated clash, and the latter was fortunate not to be sent off when he stuck his head into Fellaini's chest. 

You didn't have to be a lip-reader to figure out what Fellaini pleaded to the referee in the aftermath.

Wilshere was involved early on, too, as he scuffed a one-on-one chance against Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea.
