Travis Kelce, Anthony Fasano's Instant Fantasy Reaction After Week 12
The Kansas City Chiefs became the first team to lose to the Oakland Raiders on Thursday. So let's just say you can imagine how things went from a fantasy perspective.
While Jamaal Charles was able to get into the end zone and have a fine overall performance, the remainder of the usable Chiefs had an off night. Wait, what's that you say? The Chiefs aren't a fantasy giant even against the Raiders?
Well, the tight end position may disagree. Travis Kelce entered Week 12 as a consensus top-10 play at tight end—even a top-five play to some considering the matchup. Kelce left with four catches for 67 yards.

It was far from a bad outcome but a frustrating one nonetheless because the Chiefs tight end who caught a touchdown pass was Anthony Fasano. The veteran hauled in a 19-yard Alex Smith pass in the third quarter to give Kansas City its first trip to paydirt.
| Travis Kelce | 4 | 67 | 16.8 | 0 | 5 |
| Anthony Fasano | 2 | 30 | 15.0 | 1 | 2 |
This, of course, means exactly nothing going forward for either player. Kelce is still a borderline every-week start at tight end, part of the mid-tier of guys who will never single-handedly win a week but can turn in the occasional solid performance. Thursday was actually only the fourth time all season he's gone over 50 yards.
Fasano is totally irrelevant. His touchdown came from sheer randomness—and the fact that he does not play wide receiver for the Kansas City Chiefs. It's possible he pilfers a few more scores from Kelce down the stretch, but it's nothing worth paying attention to.
Stay as you were, folks.
