ESPN's James Walker reported the news of Clay's hamstring and knee injuries on Thursday:

A rather slow start to the 2014 season preceded a recent strong stretch, as Clay became more involved in the Dolphins' passing attack. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill has made visible strides on the field in his third season and is relying increasingly on Clay as a go-to target.
