Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Tim Twentyman of the team's official website later confirmed that Pettigrew was able to return to action.
The Lions offense has dealt with no shortage of injury issues among its skill players this season. Pettigrew is among those that have missed time, previously sitting out with a foot ailment.
Pettigrew, a first-round pick in 2009, hasn't been heavily utilized in the aerial attack this season. He's been forced to split time with rookie Eric Ebron when healthy, with the North Carolina product getting the passing-down work. But he's continued to play a key role in terms of blocking.
