Steve Smith Loves Prime-Time Games Because They Make Ex-Girlfriends Regretful
Like many players, Baltimore Ravens receiver Steve Smith loves playing on the national stage. The reasoning behind his love for the spotlight, though, is classic.
The Ravens will be playing against the New Orleans Saints on Monday Night Football in Week 12. That means the entire country will be watching those two teams battle on the gridiron. Smith knows he'll get plenty of air time, and he's looking forward to it.
Why does he love playing in prime time?

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
"Family members get to see you play," Smith said, per Clifton Brown of CSNBaltimore.com. "Ex-girlfriends, they wish they wouldn’t have dumped you."
The 35-year-old wideout has made five Pro Bowls in the first 13 years of his career but still has extra motivation every time he plays on the big stage.
Super Bowl XXXVIII must have been a huge thrill for Smith. He had a chance to play in the biggest sporting event in the United States in 2004, and although his Carolina Panthers came up just short, Smith did have 80 yards and a touchdown.
With Baltimore playing in prime time, be sure to keep an eye on Smith this week. And perhaps any of his ex-girlfriends' Twitter accounts.
