WWE NXT: Full Preview, Rumors and More for November 20
Welcome to Bleacher Report's preview for the Nov. 20 episode of NXT on the WWE Network. Spoilers are already out there, but if you want to know what will happen without having the matches spoiled for you, you're in the right place.
We have a packed show this week with six matches. None of the champions are in action, but there will be a few bouts with possible championship repercussions.
Let's take a look at what WWE's developmental brand has in store for us Thursday.

Modern-Day Dream Matches 💭

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
The Women
The first match of the evening will see the continuation of a feud that began back on October 23 when Becky Lynch turned heel and attacked Bayley.
Bayley will finally get her shot at revenge when she squares off against Lynch in one-on-one action. To add more drama to the situation, NXT's resident ratchet girl Sasha Banks will be accompanying her new BFF to the ring for this encounter.
This might not seem like an important match on the surface, but it could give us an idea of which lady will emerge as the clear contender for Charlotte's NXT Women's Championship.
Bayley and Lynch competed in a tag team match last week, but this will be the first time they battle each other in singles competition.
Bayley has been one of the more prominent women in the division during the past six months, which means Lynch has a chance to really make a name for herself by defeating everyone's favorite happy-go-lucky future Diva.
The Tag Teams
NXT is upping the ante this week by giving us two tag team matches instead of the usual one. The first team-based bout of the show will see The Vaudevillains take on The Lucha Dragons.
While you might think this means they are facing the NXT tag team champions, it is actually going to be a miniature version of the two high-flyers played by two little people.
This is obviously going to be a comedy segment to make The Vaudevillains look like the evil contenders they should be portrayed as.
The mini-luchadores clearly aren't intended to pose a real threat to Simon Gotch and Aiden English, but there's always the chance that the real Lucha Dragons could take offense and make an appearance.
The second tag match will definitely be more competitive but not by a lot. Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady will take on Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson with Carmella at ringside to support The Realest Guys in the Room.
The outcome of this match seems pretty clear. Amore and Cassady have been getting a lot of attention, while Wilder and Dawson have been used almost exclusively to get other people over.
The tag champs are tied up in a feud with The Vaudevillains, and The Ascension are busy with Hideo Itami and Finn Balor, so giving Amore and Cassady an easy win is a good way to keep them relevant while they wait for a bigger feud to open up.
What used to be kind of annoying about Amore and Cassady has turned them into one of the more entertaining acts in NXT. Hopefully WWE calls them up as a tag team so a bigger audience can enjoy their antics.
The Men
Baron Corbin will try to continue his winning streak in a match against Elias Sampson. There's really no reason to think this match will end any way other than Corbin having his hand raised.
Corbin has won every match he's had since his breakout moment, so it stands to reason that he would continue to dominate against another one of the minor characters in NXT.
Another bruiser who has been on a roll is Bull Dempsey, and he will be in action this week when he takes on Steve Cutler.
If you have never heard of Steve Cutler, you're not alone. He's very new to the wrestling business, but he has already proven his toughness as an active-duty U.S. Marine.
WWE.com gave Cutler the chance to write a special article on Veteran's Day where he talked about his time in the military and his experiences in WWE up to this point.
"My experience with WWE over the past year has been gratifying and humbling. Nowhere in my life have I been treated so well and been given so much. The funny thing is, I’ve told other WWE Superstars and Divas that this lifestyle is so similar to the USMC. You work hard day in and day out, and you only get out of it what you put in. So the transition hasn’t been that difficult. In the USMC, you trained to make sure everyone makes it home, including yourself. Here, we train to protect others and ourselves in the ring, so we can have long-lasting careers in the world of sports-entertainment.
"
It will be interesting to see how the combat veteran performs in the ring against a powerhouse like Dempsey. His first match in July saw him take a brutal beating at the hands of CJ Parker. Here's hoping he gets more of an opportunity to show what he is capable of this week.
Speaking of CJ Parker, he will be in the night's main event against one of the most talented wrestlers on the WWE roster, Tyson Kidd. His recent Intercontinental Championship match with Cesaro and Dolph Ziggler definitely proved that Kidd is someone to take seriously.
Both of these guys are heels, so it will be interesting to see how this match plays out. Chances are good that Kidd's brand of exciting offense will pop the live crowd, but they still don't have a hero to cheer for.
Considering Parker has been without a real program and Kidd has been featured regularly on the main roster and NXT, it looks a little grim for Mother Nature's favorite advocate.
While no one match sticks out as a potential five-star show-stealer, it does appear that a lot of midcard NXT talent will be given time this week, which is never a bad thing.
Sometimes it's nice to see The Ascension, Charlotte, Sami Zayn and Adrian Neville take a week off and give the rest of the roster some time to shine.
What are you looking forward to on this week's episode of NXT?
