Bell Suffering from Ankle Injury
The Detroit Lions really can't keep their running backs healthy this year.
Justin Rogers of MLive.com reported Bell was dealing with an ankle injury:
"After his season-best rushing performance against the Arizona Cardinals last Sunday, Joique Bell didn't practice on Wednesday because of an ankle injury. He briefly left the contest in the third quarter after getting awkwardly bent backward while being tackled by defensive linemen Calais Campbell and Dan Williams.
"
Bell has rushed for 442 yards and three touchdowns this season, leading Detroit in both categories. He's become Detroit's top running back and will be key for the offense against a very good New England team.
