There is no shortage of athletes with swag. Confidence, talent and, of course, a little ching are a tried-and-true formula.

Though an athlete's swaggernometry can be calculated by the swag he or she owns or by the swagger he or she shows, a person always has to have a little of both to possess true swag.

But swag is just a cool and expensive mirage if an athlete can't back it up.

Those who are the all-time greats in their sports—Hall of Famers and Hall of Fame-worthy athletes—and also set the standard for paint-peeling swag represent the elite of the elite.

That means they won championships and set records while living lives most of us could never dream of.
