Quin Snyder Received His 1st Technical of the 2014-15 NBA Season
Quin Snyder is a terrifying human being.
The Utah JazzĀ head coach can look at you in ways youāve never been looked at before. Specifically, his eyes impart the message ādinner.ā
So itās a small wonder that it's taken several weeks for Snyder to earn his first technical foul as a head coach for tearing into the officials.
Next Impulse Sportsā John Ferensen spotted video of the incident. Snyder picked up the tech during the second quarter of Tuesday nightās game against the Oklahoma City Thunder after referees called a criminally tardy foul against Rudy Gobert in the paint.
The broadcast didnāt catch Snyderās immediate reactionāhe ran screaming up the sidelineābut did manage to catch him telling his players to āwake up!ā
Then there was this face:

Unsurprisingly, the Jazz responded to Snyderās fire. The team shored up the leaking defense and scrapped out a 98-81 win thanks to big nights from Alec Burks (20 points, 14 rebounds) and Trey Burke (17 points, nine assists).Ā
They played like their lives depended on it, which probably isnāt a figure of speech as much as the reality in this case. Snyder will have his win or take his tax in blood.
