The Los Angeles Lakers stunned the Atlanta Hawks Tuesday 114-109 to earn their second win of the season.
Kobe Bryant led L.A. with 28 points. Carlos Boozer, Jordan Hill and Jeremy Lin each recorded double-doubles in the victory. Nick Young put up 17 points in his return to the lineup.
Paul Millsap led all scorers with 29 for the Hawks, and Jeff Teague scored 23.
The Lakers assailed the Hawks defense for 67 first-half points, and the hosts could not complete the comeback in front of an underwhelmed Atlanta crowd interspersed with many Lakers fans.
Up next, the Hawks host the Detroit Pistons on Nov. 21, while the Lakers must travel to Houston to complete the back-to-back on Nov. 19.
