Bucs Close To Deal With Freeman
ESPN's minute man, Adam Schefter, said it was a done deal, then said it wasn't then said it's all so very close.
The websites are on standby, the blogs are burning.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and first round pick Josh Freeman should have themselves a contract sometime today meaning that Freeman will report with the rest of the team and take the field for the first workout Saturday morning.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The deal should be put to rest soon and everyone can get to work.
Look for the deal to most likely be a five-year deal with a total value in the $20 million neighborhood with guaranteed money in the $10 million neighborhood. Just figure the term "more or less" when the talk goes to the money.
Tampa based Pewter Report has also reported that middle linebacker Barrett Ruud, who hoped for a contract extension from the team but received nothing, will report to camp on Friday.
In all, it should be a routine opening of "Camp Raheem" on Saturday morning.
All indications are that running back Cadillac Williams could be cleared to practice when he takes his physical. His presence would add depth to a position that needs depth.
Only remaining question mark is offensive lineman Arron Sears.
Odds are that Sears will not show up for camp and then the Buccaneers will have a decision to make.
So call it what you wish, "Camp Raheem" or in the eyes of many national observers—"Camp Question Mark."
