The Bleacher Creature Zoo: Diversity Welcome
I've noticed out nickname isn't that far off. We are Bleacher Creatures.
Like animals, most here stick in packs.
You've got the baseball people, the college and pro football people (who are two different animals), the NASCAR herd, the fight guys and so many other groups that we indeed do form sort of a zoo with all these different creatures.
Just like in the animal world, we all watch our "pecking order" and while are some are just content to graze with the herd, most are hunters seeking out the next big kill.
But unlike the animal world, who doesn't always like it when someone from another species ambles in, B/R creatures open their arms to a another animal who wanders in from another herd.
So if you're a die-hard Atlanta Braves fan or writer, but still have a small itch to talk college football and post something on your favorite team, come on over and visit.
Nobody expects you to be an "Alpha Male" they just appreciate you being a hunter and bringing us in some new meat to chew on.
But you can't have a complete group without some hunters. But we can't all take the time to read each others work, so we appreciate the "Grazers." There would be no writers without readers, so hats off to all the grazers as well.
After reading some of the articles on some sites I usually don't wander into, I would have to say the writing is great everywhere. Our "Zoo Keepers," those wonderful editors who often work so thanklessly, have really helped us all stay in top shape.
Hat's off to the editors!
And lastly, I want to say there is no "best" part of B/R, just as there is no one favorite animal in a zoo. What's tops for one isn't everyone's choice for No. 1, so thanks for all the diversity we have here.
I am proud to be member of this "zoo" because of the wonderful company I am a part of—I think you should be too.
