Worst Case Scenario:  Florida Gators 

Biggest Asset:  Experience, Leadership, Coaching 

Let’s face it; there are quite a few players on this Florida Gators team that have two national title rings.  That’s a whole lot of winning experience.  Just like bad attitudes are contagious, so is winning and these players have done a whole lot of it.  

We also cannot overlook the asset of Tim Tebow’s leadership.  I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a man more designed to lead a group of people by his actions and words.  He’s a rare athlete and Florida is lucky to have him.

Lastly we must look at the coaching ability of Urban Meyer.  He may be a better recruiter than coach, but it’s hard to argue the fact that he does anything other than put key players at key positions.  But in addition to doing that, he also has the offense to confuse defenses by not staying true to any sort of pattern.  And when all else fails; Tebow up the middle doesn’t fail.



Biggest Liability:  Expectations

Last year Georgia was the preseason number 1, much like Florida is this year.  If Florida flops like Georgia they can blame it on expectations.  Last year the number 1 preseason team, Georgia, finished with 3 losses.  



Where They Could Stumble:  LSU, Georgia and/or FSU



Worst Case Scenario:  10-2

Florida’s worst case scenario is losing early in the season at LSU and possibly again against Georgia and/or Florida State.  If they lose early in the season to LSU, it won't be a big deal if they can win out.  But if they lose early, and then they lose late in the season, the Gators would be eliminated from the possibility of repeating as National Champions.
