Marco Reus Rumours Gathering Pace

1 of 2

Last week, he was linked with Chelsea, and now the rumours continue to gather pace for Borussia Dortmund's Marco Reus.

According to the Daily Express, Chelsea are in pole position to sign the talented German, using Andre Schurrle as bait to seal his signature.

It may not be as straightforward as Chelsea hope, however, as Real Madrid are also circling along with the Premier League rivals Manchester United and Liverpool.

Should the move come off, it will be a spectacular fall from grace for Schurrle at Chelsea.

After winning the World Cup this summer, he started the season as a first-team player in Jose Mourinho's attacking midfield, but poor form and illness have seen him drop down the pecking order.

Former Chelsea Boss Avram Grant to Be Named Ghana Manager

2 of 2

Avram Grant has struggled to scale the heights of his time as Chelsea manager in 2008, when he guided the Blues to their first Champions League final appearance.

However, it hasn't stopped him being offered work.

The Daily Mail reports Grant is set to be announced as Ghana's new manager this week.

He will apparently be paid a £130,000 signing-on fee by the Ghanaian FA on top of earning £30,000 per month. He will be unveiled after the Black Stars play Togo on Wednesday.

Grant has managed at various clubs since leaving Chelsea in 2008, including Portsmouth, who were relegated from the Premier League with him at the helm.
