Aaron Levine of Fox Q13 in Seattle offered his take on the situation:
Lockette has had a modest role in the Seahawks' passing game, with two touchdowns among his seven receptions on the season.
Playing in Kansas City is tough enough, and Lockette's ejection only offered more fuel for the Chiefs fans to try to get under the reigning Super Bowl champions' collective skin.
Lockette's unfortunate confrontation with Chiefs defensive back Kurt Coleman shouldn't jeopardize his overall status as a consistent special teams contributor. However, Seattle is without one of its top performers in what can be the most critical phase of football in tight games for the time being.
