Julius Thomas, Emmanuel Sanders' Fantasy Reaction After Week 11 Injuries

Timothy RappNov 16, 2014

The Denver Broncos have boasted the league's most dangerous passing attack in the NFL once again this season, largely due to Peyton Manning but also because of the team's stable of excellent receivers. That group saw two of its top performers, Julius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders, leave Sunday's game against the St. Louis due to injuries, however.

Quite frankly, losing either player for any amount of time would be a major loss for both Denver and fantasy owners.

Thomas is one of the top-three options in fantasy each week behind Rob Gronkowski and Jimmy Graham, while Sanders has been one of the steadier fantasy receivers in all of football this year.

Thomas owners should be ready to scramble for a replacement player next week in case Thomas can't go, and should at least consider Jacob Tamme, Denver's second-string tight end. Replacing Sanders should be a bit easier for owners, as wide receiver is a deeper position than tight end, but his status in the coming week should be monitored closely.
