'It was a huge relief,' Williams said. 'To know that it's not the ACL was pretty gratifying.'
Rob Carlin of CSN Washington passed along the reaction and his thoughts on Williams' ailment:
Williams has played in all 16 games over the last two seasons as a stalwart on the offensive line, starting all of those contests.
If Williams is forced to miss any more time after Sunday, the line will have to shift again. Heading into a huge showdown with the San Francisco 49ers next week, the team can't afford his loss against a stout defense.
