Jamaal Charles, Knile Davis' Instant Fantasy Reaction After Week 11

Timothy RappNov 16, 2014

You didn't really think the Seattle Seahawks were going to slow down Jamaal Charles, did you?

The San Francisco 49ers couldn't stop him, after all. Neither could the St. Louis Rams, or New York Jets or even the vaunted front seven of the Buffalo Bills. Quite frankly, no teams have been able to slow down Charles this year, especially from a fantasy perspective.

In the first half alone against Seattle, he reached the end zone twice. He's a beast, folks.

Outside of DeMarco Murray and Le'Veon Bell, no running back has been more consistent this year for fantasy owners than Charles. He remains one of the game's most reliable RB1 options.

And that means Knile Davis still only has value as a handcuff, even despite his touchdown on Sunday.

While he'll occasionally have value when Charles is healthy like he did this week—in Week 8, for example, he rushed 16 times for 49 yards and a score and added a touchdown, though the rushing attempts largely came in garbage time—more often than not he's buried on the bench when the dynamic Charles is on the field.

He's worth owning as fantasy's top handcuff, yes, but keep him on your bench.
