After a highly uneventful first half, Slovenia and England came out firing in the second. 

First, Jordan Henderson headed in an own goal on a Slovenia free-kick to put England behind. 

Not long after, though, Wayne Rooney drew a penalty and converted from the spot to get the Three Lions level at 1-1. 

It was Wayne Rooney's 44th goal for England on the night he celebrated his 100th cap. It draws him level with Jimmy Greaves on the all-time England scoring list. 

Danny Welbeck then continued his fine run of goal-scoring form for England with a scrappy finish to put them ahead.

Welbeck added to his goal tally, scoring a fantastic goal to put England ahead 3-1.
