Baines Timeline Reported
Everton released a statement detailing the severity of Leighton Baines' injury on Saturday:
"Leighton Baines could be in contention to face West Ham United next weekend after scans revealed the full-back’s hamstring injury is not as serious as first feared.
The 29-year-old was forced to withdraw from the England squad yesterday after pulling up in training with the problem.
He returned to Finch Farm for an assessment which has since showed that he has sustained a ‘grade one’ hamstring injury – the least significant on the scale of such injuries.
Baines will continue to be monitored by Everton’s medical team and, although he remains a doubt for next Saturday, he has not yet been ruled out of the game against Sam Allardyce’s Hammers.

Baines Suffers Hamstring Knock
Everton defender Leighton Baines is heading back to Goodison Park for treatment on an undisclosed injury picked up during training with the England national team.
The English FA noted the veteran left-back picked up the ailment on Friday and announced there would be no immediate addition to the squad:
"The Everton defender picked up an injury in training on Friday morning and will return to his club for treatment.
No further call-ups will be made at this time.
"
The Toffees will hope it's only a minor setback for Baines. He's been one of the few bright spots among a defensive group that's gone through plenty of ups and downs in the early part of the campaign. More information should be available after he returns for treatment.
As for England, the side will move forward with Kieran Gibbs as the only left-back on the roster for Euro 2016 qualifier against Slovenia on Saturday. Luke Shaw will then be available for the friendly with Scotland next week after being left off the final 23-player list for the weekend.
