McKelvin Suffers Ankle Injury vs. Dolphins

Buffalo Bills cornerback Leodis McKelvin suffered an ankle injury during the Week 11 matchup against the Miami Dolphins on Thursday Night Football.

The ailment was reported by Tim Graham of The Buffalo News:

Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald later reported it was an ankle injury:

At halftime, NFL.com confirmed his status for the remainder of the night:

McKelvin, 29, has started eight of nine games this season for the Bills. He has 46 combined tackles with eight passes defended, four interceptions and a forced fumble.

Graham noted that former Baltimore Ravens player Corey Graham replaced McKelvin:

McKelvin also returns punts for the Bills, so his loss would mean much more than just the impact on the defense. There is no timetable for his return at this point.
