German World Cup Film Quotes 'Steven Gerrard' from Fan Twitter Account

Germany rightfully were excited to document their World Cup triumph from the summer in Brazil. 

So much so, that their documentary, Die Mannschaft, even quoted non-German players who lauded their victory from afar. 

Among those were England and Liverpool man Steven Gerrard. Well, "Steven Gerrard." 

In the film's official trailer, Gerrard is quoted. Problem being, Gerrard never actually said the quoted quote, it was simply a Gerrard fan account commenting on the German victory on Twitter. 

Lesson learned, Germany, always mind the blue checkmark!
