Fedor Emelianenko Vs. Brock Lesnar: Objective Facts and Reasons
I would like to once and for all settle the following debate: Who is the best heavyweight MMA fighter in the world?
Fedor has been praised as a decent fighter by some other average fighters such as George St. Pierre, Anderson Silva, Mauricio Rua, Randy Couture, Frank Mir, Bas Rutten, Kevin Randleman, BJ Penn, Mark Coleman, Tim Sylvia, etc.
However, they all have a stake in praising him. Neutral people with lots of integrity, that would never lie to us fans, such as Dana White, have always stated the truth: Fedor is overrated.
At least until he signs with the very stacked and super deep UFC heavyweight division. The UFC heavyweight division is their deepest division with a monster and "long time reigning champ" Brock Lesnar, number 2 p4p "iron chin" Frank Mir, "wizard on the ground" Cheick Kongo, young legend Randy Couture who is in his prime, famous and proven fighters that have fought the whoswho of MMA in Sean Carwho(?) and Kane Valasqwho(?).
For all the people that claim Cheick Kongo is one-dimensional, let me ask you this: How can a one-dimensional loser survive in the deepest heavyweight talent pool in the world? Clearly, Kongo is not a one-dimensional without any ground skills that is hyped up by the UFC management along with all the other fighter.
Besides, who else is out there to compete in the heavyweight ranks? Most people can only come up with unknown names such as: Fabricio Werdum, Sergei Kharitanov, Josh Barnett, Alexander Emelianenko, Alistair Overeem, Ricardo Arona, Semmy Schilt, Andrei Arlovski, etc. These guys are cans. Unless they sign with the UFC! You see the UFC ink on that contract improves your fighting skills drastically! Just ask Dana White, he would never lie to us, the fans!
But after countless debates with MMA newbies, that clearly lack the understanding to acknowledge the fact, that the UFC heavyweight division is stacked, I have come up with an obejctive list of facts, that Dana White and the UFC management would instantly approve and justify, in order to finally settle the argument of who the best MMA heavyweight is.
It comes down to two people: Brock "the legend" Lesnar vs. Fedor "the overrated" Emelianenko.
And before I start, one more thing: If you still do not agree with me, that Brock Lesnar is the best fighter in the world, let's at least agree on one thing:
IF Brock defeats people of the very same caliber as Fedor such as famous and long time proven studs Sean Carwho(?) or Kane Valasqwho(?), that at least should make Brock legitimate right? I can't wait till he wins against those two true contenders, to silence the critics among you people.
Here is the list of facts, why Brock is clearly better than Fedor:
1. Brock is bigger
2. Brock is stronger
3. Brock has bigger fists
4. Brock has longer reach
5. Brock is a really good wrestler
6. Brock has never really lost, he gave that kneebar to Mir
7. Brock avenged his only loss against the number 2 p4p fighter in the world in "iron chin" Mir and is now ranked number one p4p!
(No. 3 Anderson Silva, No. 4 GSP, No. 5 BJ Penn, No. 6 Matt Hughes, No. 7 Liddell, No. 8 Diego Sanchez, No. 9 Sean Carwho(?), No 10 maybe Fedor maybe ground wizard Cheick Kongo)
8. Brock is getting better with every fight. So he got better an incredible five times!
9. Brock has more class than Fedor (Fedor always knocks his opponents out or submits them, Brock is much more gentle and lays on them only)
10. Brock has an iron jaw: Not even Randy and Mir could knock out Brock, and they are both knockout machines!
11. Brock has more punching power, see how he destroyed Randy? Randy was 46 years old which means, Brock ALSO had to fight Randy's experience
12. Brock has better submission - he just doesn't show it, because, unlike Fedor, Brock is no show off
13. Brock has better submission defence - Frank Mir took such a long time to capitalize on the kneebar Brock gave him, before he could capitalize. Brock also gave him an armbar, a Kimura, a RNC, and a triangle choke, but his neck and arms were too strong to get submitted
14. Brock is still getting better - Even after a whopping decade of fighting and 5 (!) fights!
15. Brock is making more money: Why would he make more money, if was a lesser fighter? Makes sense right? I guess not to you blind Fedor fans
16. Fedor has never fought in the octagon - which is completely different, rumor has it that the gravitational constant changes in the octagon
17. Fedor has never fought anybody with Brock's skills, size, ability, and first and last name
18. Fedor only got lucky in his fights - Opponents were sick, injured, drunk, they slipped or were distracted, etc.
19. Fedor never fought any good standup fighters, except for K-1 3-time champ Semmy Schilt, and K-1 champ Mark Hunt, but he got lucky both times: Semmy Schilt didn't see Fedor, because Fedor is so short; Mark Hunt thought it was an armwrestling match,
20. Fedor never fought grappling wizards, except for ADCC absolute champion Ricardo Arona, who has never lost in the ADCC, but he couldn't finish Arona, survived with luck, then got lucky with the judges decision because they mixed up the scorecards
21. Fedor never fought good wrestlers, except for olympic wrestler Coleman, 3 time NCAA champ Randleman, olympic medalist Lindland, but they were not in their prime when he fought them. Coleman is in his prime now at the age of 45 years. Besides Coleman didn't know armbars were allowed from the bottom... twice
22. Fedor is chubby, because he used to take steroids - in contrast to Lesnar - and is now off the juice, just ask Dana or anyone else who is working for the UFC
23. Fedor is a sore loser, he doesn't even think he legitimately lost. Although he clearly did. He clearly was crying after the loss and has been making excuses ever since by claiming he gave that illegal elbow cut to his opponent. Besides he never avenged that loss
24. Fedor hs no class, not humble at all, just a marketing gig for Pride, Affliction, and Bodog to earn some extra PPV money
25. Fedor has a crazy manager, Brock has a honest guy in Dana White
28. Fedor has a glass chin - see Fujita fight, he actually lost, but Fujita slipped and fell right into rear naked choke position to accidently get submitted by Fedor
29. Fedor greases - see all his fights
30. Fedor is arrogant in contrast to Lesnar - we all know that
31. Fedor never dominated anyone. Sure UFC 5 time HW champ Tim Sylvia and UFC HW contender Gary Goodridge never landed a punch, but they didn't hear the opening bell and got caught by a cowardish punch
32. Most people knowledgeable of MMA say Brock is the real deal. Ask Dana White - he would never lie to his fans! Besides Dana loves the sport so much and would never sell out the sport for cheap entertainment money. He pretty much joined the UFC for charity purposes.
33. Chuck Liddell says Fedor is overrated. He would never lie neither. He has no affiliation with Dana. And if you do not believe these two trustworthy people, ask anybody else that is working for the UFC. They will all tell you that Fedor sucks
34. Fedor never fought someone over 300 lbs, not even 250 lbs. Sure a few maybe, but they were not significantly larger than him, except for Hong Man Choi, Zulu, Schilt, Hunt, Schall, Sylvia and a few others. Fedor got lucky each time though
35. Fedor only picks the weakest of all opponents: bad striker Arlovski, short Tim Sylvia, weak Randleman and Coleman, small Hong Man Choi, etc.
36. Fedor continues to try and fight unknown and overrated fighters: Josh Barnett. Who has Josh ever fought? Has he ever won anything? Has he ever beaten anybody? Has he ever fought in the octagon? Luckily the fight never occured.
As you can all see now, there is absolutely no reason why Fedor can even come close in a fight with the legend Brock Lesnar. Sure, there is always a puncher's chance:
But that is why Kimbo Slice might easily defeat Fedor Emelianenko as well!
